What happens

Create the account at console.fastbrowse.ai/signup.

  1. 01Create the account

Sign up with an email address at https://console.fastbrowse.ai/signup. An organization is created for you on the Free plan.

  2. 02Read your API key

The console shows a key once, when it is created. Store it then: it is not shown again. Test keys start with fbh_test_ and live keys start with fbh_live_. A test key runs a simulator that returns the same response shapes at no cost.

  3. 03Send a run

POST a task to the runs endpoint with your key as a bearer token. The API returns 202 with a run id, and the run's steps, answer and citations become readable as it progresses.

Create an account

Your first request

Send a task to POST https://api.fastbrowse.ai/v1/runs with the key in the Authorization header. The response is 202 and carries a run id. Read the run back with GET /v1/runs/{id}.

curl -X POST https://api.fastbrowse.ai/v1/runs \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer fbh_test_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"task": "Find the returns policy on example.com and quote it"}'

# 202 Accepted
# {"id": "run_..."}

curl https://api.fastbrowse.ai/v1/runs/run_... \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer fbh_test_..."

What the Free plan allows

The Free plan carries $2.00 of runs a month (at most 400 runs, since none costs less than $0.005), one run at a time, a 7 day history and a cap of 500 runs a month, top-ups included. Runs made with a test key are free and are not charged. When you need more, paid plans raise the concurrency, the rate limit and the history window.
